Paxton feature in Medal winning Chelsea Garden

The Slim Line Water Tank, part of the Rainwater Harvesting range from Paxton, featured in a medal winning garden at this years prestigious Chelsea Flower Show. The Recessed Urban Garden, sponsored by Pemberton Greenish in collaboration with Knoll Gardens and designed by Paul Hensey, was awarded a Silver-Gilt Medal.

Responding to the needs of the Urban Environment, Paul Hensey designed a sunken garden to reduce outside noise levels and used low maintenance seasonal grasses to provide year round interest and colour in the planting scheme. To sustain this environment without compromising the appeal of the garden he selected Paxton’s discreet 250 litre Slim Line Water Tank in the natural colour.
 
In the design, two 250 litre Slim Line units, linked together, harvested water from the property roof and paved areas was used to maintain the water level within the pond  An electric pump was then used to provide a supply for the waterfall feature which alternatively could be diverted for watering the garden as required.       

The Slim Line Tank has been especially designed for space restricted areas and features a tough, compact, rectangular design that can fit flush against a wall or fence. Multiple inlet and outlet options provide flexibility in locating the tank and a range of colour choices allow the tank to blend discreetly within the home and garden environment. There is also a Horizontal unit that can sit under staging for plants or a raised deck.
